Some may have missed the discussion of French Fries at the last Miata Club meeting. The fries at Sportsman’s was under the standards of some members. This set off The Quest (well,maybe I started the Quest) to find the best fries, if not in America or even in Tennessee, at least the best fries in the Nashville
area. I am throwing down the gantlet in challenge to the Club to come up with their best “Fry” offering in the club service area.
I will start the quest by presenting my choice for the “Best Frys” in the Nashville area. That would be Hanks Honkytonk in Murfreesboro. I have checked with Ken, the owner, and our best option for a group would be on a Monday night. In addition to the great fries they have live music every night from 6 to 9 pm with no cover. Hanks is small ,so we need a group of 16 or less so we do not overwhelm the joint. My first date I can lead the group will be Mar 14.
I was envisioning this as an impromptu event and not a full MCMC event. The Hanks is just not large enough to host the full Club but we will have room for all us “Fry Freaks”.
