Dec 7 — Tennessee’s Home for the Holidays 2023

Governor Mansion1

HomeForHolidays

The Governor’s Mansion Holiday tour has become a wonderful Holiday tradition for the club.  Past tours have found the decorations done by local artists and organizations well worth the price of FREE.

We have reserved a block of 16 tickets for 11:30 AM on December 7th.  We’ll jump on the shuttle at 11:15 AM at the Woodmont Hills Church, 3710 Franklin Rd, Nashville, TN 37204 parking lot. Afterwards, true to MCMC protocol, we’ll go for lunch at the Tupelo Honey Café located at 2000 Meridian Blvd #110, Franklin, TN 37067.  After lunch, some may want to do Christmas shopping in the Cool Springs area.

For tickets & the lunch tally, RSVP via dennyrowlett@hotmail.com or call/text 615-618-5403 by 12/05/22.  Please indicate first & last name for each person’s ticket as well as an email address for the tickets.  I will email link to tickets; however, tickets are not required for entry as long as I have your name(s) on list submitted to security. Governor Mansion1

Happy Holidays!
The Rowletts

Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee invite you to celebrate the holiday season with Christmas at the Tennessee Residence.

The theme for the Christmas décor at the Tennessee Residence this year, “Heaven and Nature Sing,” will portray the larger-than-life magic that we experience in the delight and merriment of the holiday season, the beauty of Tennessee’s natural landscapes, and the joy of the coming of Christ and the salvation of the world.

Families, individuals, and groups are welcome to register for a tour of Tennessee’s home that is sure to bring all the delight and merriment of the holiday season.

Want to help those in need this holiday season?

Governor and First Lady Lee are continuing their beloved Christmas tradition of inviting guests to bring requested items in support of nonprofits across the state.

The First Lady’s initiative, Tennessee Serves, works to mobilize Tennesseans to serve their neighbors and highlight nonprofits doing transformative work across the state. In partnership with Tennessee Serves, the Governor and First Lady invite guests to participate in giving back during the holiday season by bringing requested items to support the work of five nonprofits across the state. The five nonprofits serve diverse groups of Tennesseans and represent each Grand Division.

Guests are encouraged to bring items to donate from the nonprofits’ lists provided below. Donated items will be collected at the start of each tour and placed under Christmas trees in Conservation Hall that have been decorated to represent each nonprofit.

Donations are NOT required to attend. Items should be new (or gently used where specified). Items should NOT be gift-wrapped.

Cash donations CANNOT be accepted onsite at the Tennessee Residence; however, online donation links for each nonprofit are provided below and onsite at the Christmas tours.
