Something to Cheer For!

The Titans are out, but that doesn’t mean there’ll be any less howling going

 on Feb. 13 at the Matisak’s Super Bowl Central!  Miata Club members seem to have a variety of ties to football teams across the country, so everyone can tell some lies, er stories, about their favorite team. Come for the stories, come for the football “pool,” or simply enjoy the socializing, fine food and refreshments — surely everyone can find SOMETHING to cheer for!

There will be plenty of free parking, open seating, TVs, food and competitive spirit! The game doesn’t start until 6pm, but we’ll be starting at 3pm. So, come early, come late. Stay for a while, stay all day. Come to socialize, come for the game. Play some games. No rules.

So, Lois & Phil wants to know, “Are You Ready For Some Football?” Break free of the Tennessee winter doldrums and soak up some social stimulation, whether it’s from interesting conversation, or the ebb and flow of other spirits. We’ll conduct the traditional “competition” with an opportunity to place a few bucks on the score board, with quarterly cash prize winners.

The main course of food will be provided by Famous Daves — Ribs and Wings. An assortment of soft drinks and beer will be provided. Feel free to bring your own favorite beverage/libations.

Bring a side dish to share. Cost per attendee to cover the main course is $10.

As with years past, be sure and don your favorite NFL apparel and bring a winning attitude.
