Yes, you can drive your own car too, but we will be going to see and listen to a Beatles cover band. The WannaBeatles (Grammy finalists) will be performing a FREE concert in Crockett Park in Brentwood! Before we get there, we will be driving country roads in Rutherford County and then off to Brentwood. There, we will have a picnic and concert!
Please bring your own drinks and picnic food or you can order sandwiches through Joyce and we’ll have them ready for you at the Cracker Barrel in Smyrna off of Exit 66A,(coming from Nashville) or Exit 66 going to Nashville) I-24.
To order Sandwiches, go to the Substation II Web site to see what they have, call Joyce to order at 615-617-9966 and pay when we meet. Or you can bring your own picnic food. Please call by June 9th to order.
We’ll be driving a road that was just recently filmed for a movie called 100 Billion to One. A love story that had an unusual ending.
We will meet at 4:45 PM on June 11th at the Smyrna Cracker Barrel and leave by 5:15 PM to be on our way to the concert. We should arrive at Crockett Park around 6:15 PM and the concert starts at 7pm. After the concert you can be “On our way home…”.
Don’t forget to bring chairs and blanket and your car radios.
