Oct 12 – The Ark (POSTPONED To Spring 2020)

There has been quite a bit of rain lately, the polar caps are melting and oceans are rising, so you may want to consider the trip Michael and Joyce are proposing to visit an actual replica of the biblical Ark.  Not sure if they are taking reservations for the boat trip, but the Yarbers are taking reservations to go see it.  The venue is a theme park that also features exhibits, zoo, zip lines, family dining, fossil finds and scheduled events.

Proposed plan is to meet at Cracker Barrel at 6 AM in Goodlettsville for a 4 hour fall color drive scheduled to arrive at the Noon hour at the theme park to spend the day.  Admission is $65.00 Seniors and $75 for the young’ns.   There will be a 3 hour guided tour of the museum and then visit the Ark which can take up to 4 hours.  Yes it’s that big.

So most will want to spend the night after a full day of driving and Arking, so Yaber’s have reserved a block of 10 rooms at the Hampton Inn Williamstown, KY for a discounted rate of $129.95 plus tax.  If we do not take 10+ rooms by September 12th, the unused rooms will be released and rate will increase to  $135.95 plus tax.  Rooms go fast for the fall colors in KY, so reserve your rooms soon by contacting the hotel direct at  (859) 823-7111  and ask for the Music City Miata Club block/rate.Final plans are still in process, but do RSVP the Yarber’s  mly1971@gmail.com and book your room early for this enlightening one of a kind experience.
