Auction for Charity
2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Open House at Phil and Lois Matisak’s home
We never stop looking for new excuses to gather and enjoy the camaraderie our Club offers. Recently, we’ve discovered that several of our members are talented artists in a variety of medium. How about creating an opportunity for them to not only display their talents, but also raise a few dollars for a worthy cause — all while spending an afternoon enjoying each others company and conversation!
So, on Sunday, Oct. 27, we’ll gather for our first Club Artists’ Art Show & Auction. All proceeds from the auction will go to a charity chosen by members. We’ll follow the typical silent auction format — bidding to proceed during the course of the Open House, snacks and beverages to be provided, and bidding to close at 4 p.m. Of course, we’ll give you fair warning to place you’re final bids.
We’ve set a modest goal of $500 for our first event. All proceeds to go to the chosen charity. Of course, a direct donation to our goal will not be turned down.

We’re still recruiting talent, so don’t be shy about your work. If you would like to donate a piece of art you have created or submit the name of a charity for consideration, please contact Cheryl Rowlett cherrowlett@icloud.com ASAP.
Put on your party clothes and come enjoy a fun, festive afternoon with open hearts (and wallets) to help make a generous donation our Club can be proud of.
Hope to see you there!
