Let’s sleep late and take a leisurely backroads ride for a treat at Golly G’s!
It’s a local favorite in Pleasant View with absolutely nothing on the menu that is good for you. They have amazing pastry’s, coffee, and a small lunch menu.
But for some of us, the biggest attraction is … ICE CREAM! They make their own homemade ice cream with flavors like Loaded!, Oreo Speedwagon, and Salty Carmel, to name a few. You may want to bring a cooler to take home some of your favorites.
We’ll start gathering at the Cracker Barrel, 235 Long Hollow Pike, Goodlettsville beginning at 1:30 PM with a 2 PM departure. The drive is a little over an hour with some great twisty, scenic backroads over to Pleasant View. After having our fill, we’ll drive 1/4 mile north to Interstate 24 for quick ride back home.
