The time draws near for the yearly challenge of the Dragon! We’ve got a good group of enthusiasts joining us for the annual trek to Robbinsville. We’ll start at the Cracker Barrel in Murfreesboro, exit 81B off I65. Dave and Barbara Williams have graciously agreed to lead the group to Robbinsville. Dave is super at finding the ice cream shops on any routes, so be prepared.
Once everyone
has checked in at the Quality Inn, we’ll head up the hill to have dinner at
Lynn’s restaurant as tradition requires. After everyone gets a good
nights rest we’ll be visiting the Dragon, Fontana Lodge for the meeting of all
Miata enthusiasts and some scenic drives in in North Carolina mountains.
I plan on a trip to Highlands NC which is a truly unique little town. In
addition, we’ll travel to some other scenic destinations TBD.
I’ll provide other details as they are determined, however, I
wanted to get some initial plans out. As always, Looking forward to
visiting the Dragon again and enjoying all the beautiful areas in that part of
the country.
